²⁸ But no one reclining at the table knew why He said this to him. ²⁹ Some thought that, since Judas [as the treasurer of the group] had the money box, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he was to ^[a]give something to the poor. ³⁰ After taking the piece of bread, he went out immediately; and it was night.
